The Warning Tape was written, recorded and recently released to build up buzz for Dag Savage’s forthcoming full-length E&J which will see a February 4th release through Dirty Science. “One” the first single has a beat that sounds as though it could have been produced by the RZA, and has the members of Dag Savage using playfully complex rhyme schemes – in particular rhyming bicep with Wyclef; disastrous with asterisk; followed by rhyming abstinence with accident; accommodation and breast augmentation. Their flow is just ridiculous, and the track brings old school hip-hop back to mind.
