This video of Natural Child’s “Faces of Death Blues,” includes live footage shot in Toronto on Super 8 film by the very lovely Sally Cinnamon of the Toronto-based band the Cool Hands. To me there’s something striking about Super 8mm film that seems to accurately capture what it is like to be in a tiny, sweaty club catching live music that digital recordings just don’t manage to do well.  Check it out.
