We all know that Tupac Shakur was taken from us way too soon. Many of us — your humble curator and editor included — can remember where exactly we were and what we were doing when we heard about his untimely and tragic murder in Las Vegas back in 1996. Today is a far different and stranger occasion: If he had lived, Tupac would have turned 50. Happy birthday, brother! Happy birthday, wherever you are!
