Blur frontman and Gorillaz creative mastermind Damon Albarn turns 56 today. Throughout his career Albarn has proven to be an eclectic, forward-thinking, genre-defying and genre-mashing artist — especially with Gorillaz, who I’ve loved since their first album.
Gorillaz has been a major part of my life’s soundtrack and because of that I wanted to celebrate another fellow Aries today. Happy birthday, Damon! May there be many, many more!
