Victoria Hesketh, who records and performs under the moniker of Little Boots, recently released her sophomore effort, Nocturnes to critical praise from the likes of Spin, Pitchfork and Cosmopolitan. “Broken Record,” the first single off the album is indicative of the sound you should expect to hear from the rest of the album – a sound that meshes 90s electronica with 70s disco, irresistible hooks, and ethereal vocals. 

The Cosmic Kids remix retains some of Little Boots’ ethereal vocals but turns the song into a shimmering bit of 90s house that could have easily been released through 100% Silk Records.
