Comprised of Nick Williams (vocals), Sarik Kumar (guitar), Maxx Berkowitz (guitar), Andrew Ockenden (bass) and Vishnu Anatha (drums), the Brooklyn-based quintet of Twin Wave formed last year. And with a sound that possesses elements of soulful R&B, psych rock and indie rock, Twin Wave quickly won over critics and the blogosphere after the release of their debut EP. The band’s profile grew as they played sets at the New Music Seminar Festival New York, CMJ, had a residency at Arlene’s Grocery and opened for the likes of JD Samson and MEN, Spirit Animal, and Great Caesar.

“Into the Night” is the Brooklyn-based quintet’s latest single and it should make an appearance on the band’s forthcoming second EP, slated for a Spring 2015 release. And the single will further cement the band’s already developing reputation for crafting thoughtful and soulful indie rock that’s atmospheric – in some way it bears a subtle resemblance to Caveman’s sound but much more sensual and fluid.

The official video is comprised of stock footage of 1940s New York spliced with footage of Evil Knievel doing incredible stunts and it captures the song’s aching longing with the same nuance as the song.
