I had the privilege and honor of being invited to a media lunch at the residence of Danish Consul General Halle Meinertz celebrating the Danish/Copenhagen Jazz Fest Showcase at this year’s NYC Winter Jazz Fest. The company, which included the Danish Consul General, cellist and composer Josefine Opsahl, punk jazz trio Smaag På Dig Selv, Kaja Management‘s Kat Jarby and some other members of the press were delightful. The three course lunch was fantastic, the wine and coffee were delicious. The views were breathtaking.
The Danes proved to be excellent hosts. And I hope to visit their lovely country soon.
