Last night I was at Herbert Von King Park in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn to catch MIKE’s Young World IV, a festival showcase that featured Earl Sweatshirt, Pete Rock, Skaiwater, MYAAP, Stahhr, Baby Osama, MIKE, Stacy Epps, Sideshow and DJ A2Z. The evening’s artist paid tribute to the great MF DOOM, who was born 53 years ago yesterday.
As the afternoon progressed into the evening, the crowd got bigger and bigger. At some point, I was stuck in the photo pit/VIP area, when I noticed that Stacy Epps, who had performed earlier was sitting down and smoking a joint. I managed to get a quick portrait of her during a set.
