Sarah Aument and William Shore have known each other for some imd as they’ve been making music both in solo projects under different monikers and in a number of bands; however, last year, the duo finally got together to collaborate on their own project, Tomboy. And from the singles they’ve released on their forthcoming self-titled EP, the duo specializes in an electronic-based pop that’s sensual and coquettish with gleaming synths and slick production. On their first single “Roll Out,” the duo’s sound bore a similarity to Soft Metals’s and their impressive 2013 release Lenses

Their latest single “Moths” employs the use of skittering percussion and glitchy synths and bears a close resemblance to BRAIDSFlourish/Perish all while managing to retain a coquettish feel.
