“Somewhere Sunshine” is the latest single from Amor Ad Naseum, the debut full-length effort from the Portland, OR-based act, Aan. Slated for a February 4th release through Portland-based label, Party Damage, the material on Amor Ad Naseum will further cement Aan’s reputation for experimental pop that mixes gorgeously textured guitars, acerbic lyrics, three-part harmonies, and sprawling soundscapes. In some way, their sound, as you’ll hear on “Somewhere Sunshine,” reminds me of Husky’s gorgeous Forever So – in other words, it possesses a elegantly simple and ethereal beauty.

The video is based primarily in a surreal Western movie-like scenario in which fingers turn into actual guns. It’s strangely funny.
