Split Screens is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Jesse Calfiero. Influenced by Pink Floyd and Beck’Sea Change, his self-titled, debut EP is reportedly sort of a love letter to both coasts and to muses left behind, delivered with the urge to accept, and keep moving forward. Produced by Jeremy Black, Calfiero played most of the instruments on the album while enlisting drummer Rory O’Connor (Tycho, Tom Cruise), vibraphonist Geneva Harrison and Black’s analog tape delay to create a lush, beautiful and mournful sound that you’ll hear on the EP single, “Born."
