Static, the highly anticipated sophomore effort from Cults will see an October 15th release through Sony/Columbia Records. “High Road,” the first single from the album starts off with drums that seemingly have a military-styled precision, before guitars played through several layers of reverb and Madeline Follin’s ethereal voice floats through the song that feels particularly psychedelic — in similar fashion to that of the Stone Roses; in other words, it’s a densely layered and at times very subtle.

They’ll be touring to support their sophomore effort throughout the fall with stops in Boston, MAPhiladelphia, PALas Vegas, NV; Washington, DC; Austin, TXHouston, TX; November 26th at Webster Hall, and several other stops along the way.
