The Fort Knox Five are celebrating their 10th anniversary as a band, and to commemorate their anniversary, they’ve gone into their vaults and personally selected 15 of their favorite original songs for a compilation 10 Years of Fort Knox Five. The material on the compilation is eclectic and use elements of all kinds of funk across the world – you’ll hear elements of reggae, dub, hip hop, techno, bhangra, disco, rock, R&B, punk, swing and others but joined by big time beats and bass. And although there are technically four members, the band has reserved the fifth spot for an eclectic array of collaborators including the legendary Afrika Bambaataa, Mustafa Akbar (Thunderball and Nappy Riddem), Rootz and Zeebo (See-I and Thievery Corporation) and countless others.
