The rather mysterious, New York-based electronic artist Belanger recently contacted me with his latest single “Calico.” “Calico” is a slickly produced bit of minimalist electronica that shimmers with an icy surface; however, despite it’s minimalism, the track actually is pretty cinematic. You can actually imagine the song being part of the soundtrack of a futuristic thriller.
