There are a few annual traditions in the JOVM world but there’s one that is very dear to me: The annual posting of DMX performing “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” at Power 105.1. We all have an Earl Simmons in our lives — sometimes we’re related to an Earl Simmons. Or we’re the Earl Simmons in our families.
Although DMX’s life was troubled, this Power 105.1 interview was an extremely rare moment of levity, playfulness and Christmas spirit. Long live Dark Man X! Long Live Earl Simmons!
May this holiday season be gentle, peaceful and joyous for you and your loved ones. And may 2025 be fruitful, productive and offer everything you desire and need.
