A Twitter follower retweeted someone who mentioned that today would have been G.U.R.U.’s 59th birthday. I wanted to pay some tribute to one of the hip-hop’s legends with some of my favorite Gang Starr tracks. Listening to this tracks bring me back to what seemed to be — at points — a much simpler life.
It’s a shame that you’re not here with us, man. But happy birthday!
