Beastie Boys‘ MCA, a.k.a. Adan Yauch was born on this day, 60 years ago. As a lifelong music obsessive — and as a hip hop head, the Beasties meant a lot to me. And if you’re a child of the 80s as I am, you loved the Beastie Boys. So let’s celebrate Yauch’s life and music today, too.
