Public Enemy‘s Flavor Flav turns 63 –63! — today, y’all. I’m a huge Public Enemy fan: The first cassette I purchased with my own money was their Apocalypse 91: The Enemy Strikes Black. And I played that tape to death and then some.
When I met Chuck D at Afropunk, I fanboyed for like a week. I mean it was Chuck D, man.
