The legendary Grandmaster Flash turns 63. I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of catching and photographing the hip-hop legend at Northside Festival — and the brother was amazing.
Yesterday’s tragic news of MF DOOM‘s death should serve as a reminder that we should applaud and love our legends while we have them. So, to that end: Happy birthday, Flash! May there be many, many, many more.
