- Frankie Valli celebrates his 91st birthday on May 3
- The late and supremely great soul artist Sharon Jones was born on this day 69 years ago today
- The legendary jazz bassist Ron Carter celebrates his 88th birthday today
Motley Crüe co-founder Mick Mars celebrates his 74th birthday today. As a child of the 80s, I had a deep fondness for the Dr. Feelgood album, thanks in part to countless hours of unsurprised MTV viewing — and the album having five or six singles with accompanying videos.
Happy birthday, Mick!
