Throwback: Happy Birthday Kurt Cobain!
Today would have been Kurt Cobain’s 53rd birthday. As a music obsessed teenager, the first time I heard Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was a revelation. I can remember being an 11 year-old and thinking “Holy shit, that’s fucking awesome!” I don’t listen to Nirvana as much as I used to these days but Nevermind and In Utereo was important to a teenaged me and to my own musical development. So Happy Birthday, Kurt! We fucking miss you. Nirvana forever! Kurt Cobain forever!
