As we speak, I’m on an Air Canada flight from LaGuardia Airport to Montreal Pierre Trudeau Airport. This trip marks the first time on a plane in three years — and my first international trip in three years. Back in 2019 things were very, very different. Little did anyone know what would happen four months later.
I’ve said this to a couple of friends. I have a weird push and pull when it comes to traveling and life on the road: I’m always itching to go somewhere and have adventures. Then I’m ready to go home and tell everyone about my adventures. But within a few days of being home, I want to hit the road again.
I’m a bit nervous but I’m also excited to get back on the road again; to meet new folks; to see new and familiar things; to see new music and report back to y’all; to have great foods; and all of the good things that travel is about. Willie Nelson‘s “On The Road Again” seems so very fitting.
