Brooklyn-based producer Chrome Sparks first won quite a bit of attention with the 2011 release of his debut EP, Surface Glows. That EP’s first single, “Still Sleeping” felt much like being gently aroused from a pleasant dream. Chrome Sparks recently signed with Australian label, Future Classic (the label home of artists such as Flume, Classixx, Jagwar Ma, and others), and his first single with his new label, “Looking at Me” is quite a bit of a departure – the track swaggers with an in-your-face attitude. Thanks to it’s glitchy synths and huge room shaking beats, the track will probably remind you quite a bit of Timbaland’s production work with Missy Elliott back in the late 90s/early 2000s.
