Leech is the side project of disco-house producer and artist Brian Foote, and as Leech, he’ll be releasing a 12" by the name of “Tusks” through the Los Angeles-based label, 100% Silk Records on February 11th. Opening with the shimmering, bass-heavy title track, “Tusks” manages to be an amalgamation of acid jazz, disco, house and techno – done in a way that manages to defy easy categorization, while still being immensely danceable.

Although the track is about 8 minutes long, it manages to feel much like an ethereal wisp of smoke – it’s here and then it dissipates before your eyes.
