Last month, I caught the delightful and rising country singer/songwriter Margo Cilker and her backing band play a headlining set at Mercury Lounge primarily focusing on the material off her latest album Valley of Heart’s Delight. Minneapolis-based experimental folk/experimental Americana outfit Humbird, led by its creative mastermind Siri Undlin opened the night with an equally charming, boundary pushing set.
