Analine is a French composer and producer, who describes their sound as a fusion between pop, rock, jazz and electronic music. Once a former academic, who specialized in medieval history, the French composer and producer likes to tell a story in a song — whether it be related to a personal problem, a current or past social phenomenon or more.
Frequently, the French artist’s work is inspired by books and both fictional and historical characters as a way o link the present to the past and vice versa.
Analine’s latest single “Hub Dub” is anchored around a club and lounge friendly arrangement that channels elements of Larry Levan-era house, tribal house, deep house and world music in a way that nods to old school club nights while being remarkably contemporary.
