Foo Fighters‘ Taylor Hawkins was born on this day 53 years ago today. We tragically lost Hawkins three years ago at the way too young age of 50. But I’ll simply say this: he was one of the best rock drummers of the past 25 years or more — and he was with one of the best rock bands of the past 25 years or so, too.
I caught the Foos back in 2011 and it remains one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. And I see a lot of shit.
Happy birthday, Taylor! Happy birthday, wherever you are!
