If you’ve followed this site over the course of the past year to about 18 months or so, you would have noticed that there has been an increasing interest in internationally-based signed and unsigned music. Just the other day, I received an email from an unsigned and up-and-coming South London-based producer Tony Tokyo. 

His latest single “Reeperbahn” is a club-friendly house music comprised of sinuous synth melodies, glitchy vocal samples and an propulsive bass line. It’s frankly a fun song that sounds as though it could have been released in 1993 – or yesterday.
