Live Concert Photography: Elisapie at Joe’s Pub 10/5/24

Acclaimed, Montréal-based, Inuit artist Elisapie played Joe’s Pub last Saturday. The Joe’s Pub show was her first NYC show in 13 years. I was at that show. It was at the long-shuttered Living Room on Ludlow Street. I covered that show for GlideMagazine.com. I’ve been doing this for a very long time.

The JOVM mainstay’s Joe Pub’s set primarily focused on her latest album, last year’s spellbinding Inuktitut, which features inventive re-imaginings of songs by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac and more with lyrics translated into Inuktitut.

Check out photos from the show below.
