Last week, I caught Rosaireville, New Brunswick-born, Montréal-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lisa LeBlanc play a high energy, career-spanning set at Groove that included her ripping, “trash folk” cover of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades,” as well as material off her acclaimed third album, last year’s Chiac Disco, which features some of the most dance floor friendly batch of songs I’ve heard in the past year.
