Earlier this week, beloved Toronto-based noise rock outfit METZ reunited for a one-time only TV performance of Atlas Vending‘s “A Boat to Drown In” on the April 2025 Christmas episode of the Netflix’s Everybody’s Live With John Mullaney.
Mullaney specifically requested “A Boat to Down In,” as its one his all-time favorite METZ tunes — and man, the JOVM mainstays deliver a forceful, energetic live version of the song that will remind fans of how much they’ve missed them. Long live, METZ! Long live, METZ!
