• The 109th anniversary of Billie Holiday‘s birth was on April 7
• John Oates, of Daryl Hall and John Oates fame celebrated his 75th birthday on April 7 
• The 60th anniversary of Biz Markie‘s birth was on April 7
• The 77th anniversary of Kraftwerk co-founder Florian Schneider was on April 7
• A Tribe Called Quest‘s Q-Tip one of hip-hop’s greatest emcees and producers celebrated his 54th birthday on April 10

R&B and soul legend Al Green is also a fellow Aries. His 78th birthday is today. And as I’ve often said on this site and elsewhere: We should give our legends their flowers as often as we can, while we still have them. So let’s celebrate the Reverend Al Green and his legacy today.
