If you really know and love hip-hop, you’d know that Large Professor is one of the genre’s greatest and most beloved producers and emcees. He produced some of the most universally beloved songs off Nas’ seminal debut Illmatic and a ton of other stuff; but I also loved him going back to the Main Source days.
Large Professor celebrated his 51st birthday yesterday. Adding to a very busy month hat included the following birthdays:
- Method Man celebrated hid 52nd birthday on March 2.
- David Gilmour celebrated his 77th birthday on March 6.
- Sly Stone celebrated his 80th birthday on March 15
- Public Enemy‘s Flavor Flav celebrated his 64th birthday on March 16
- The 87th anniversary of Lee “Scratch” Perry’s birth was on March 20
But with Large Professor, I can say this: Happy belated birthday, fellow Aries!
