- Led Zeppelin‘s Robert Plant turned 74 on August 20
- Isaac Hayes was born 80 years ago on August 20
- KRS One turned 57 on August 20
- John Lee Hooker was born 105 years ago on August 22
Alice in Chains‘ Layne Staley was born 55 years ago on August 22. We tragically lost Layne 20 years ago but his work with Alice in Chains will live forever.
