Several years ago the Tumblr blog Murk Avenue went into some detailed postulating and analysis to figure out when the events of Ice Cube‘s “It Was a Good Day” happened — and according to the blogger, the events of “It Was a Good Day” occurred on January 20, 1992. (The actual blog post is below.)
I’ve been handling a family emergency and watching the Impeachment Trial of Donald Trump so I actually managed to miss it; but I wanted to commemorate the day — even if it’s a few days late. Happy It Was a Good Day, Day y’all!
