I was heading home from an event in Sunnyside, when an old drinking pal sent me a DM on Instagram that read “Angie Stone, dead at 63. . . Stone dies in car accident in Alabama . . . ”
If you loved R&B and neo-soul during the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, you adored Stone.
My thoughts go out to Stone, her family and loved ones on what’s obviously a very difficult day.
