Throwback: Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis”

There are a handful of annual traditions in the JOVM world that are super dear to me: The annual postings of John Lennon‘s “Happy Christmas (War Is Over),” DMX performing “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” at Power 105.1 and Run DMC‘s “Christmas in Hollis.” 

Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis” immediately bring back memories of what seemed — at least from the perspective of a 5-6 year old kid — to be a much simpler, happier time.

Also in the worldview of a 5-6 year old Will, these brothers were the coolest brothers on the face of the entire Earth. Man, I loved them — and will continue to love them until the end of my days.
