New Video: Two Lush and Soulful Tunes from Zurich’s Okvsho

Zurich-based sibling duo Okvsho — Georg and Christoph Kiss — will be releasing their fourth album Frozen Flashes on September 18, 2026 through Current Moves. Recorded between Zurich and London, Frozen Flashes reportedly find the Swiss duo pushing their sound between the warm jazz-influenced palette of their previous releases towards a much more atmospheric, cinematic and rhythmically adventurous direction, marking a bold step forward for the duo, who continue to build a growing international profile through its recorded output and live shows.

The album will feature contributions from Tenderlonious, Azekel, FloFliz, and Melodiesinfonie who help to blend an eclectic array of influences including jazz improvisation, broken beat, trip-hop and modern beat culture into a cohesive and distinctive whole. Across the album’s nine tracks, the Swiss sibling duo continue to blur the lines between contemporary jazz, beat music, neo-soul and electronic production. The album’s material is rooted in the spontaneity of improvised, live musicianship while embracing a producer’s approach to arrangement and texture.

Frozen Flashes‘ first single “Pluto” is a lush, shimmering and vibey blend of neo-soul, trip-hop and jazz that feels both improvised and deliberately sculptured. Azekel’s effortlessly soulful croon struts, ethereally floats and dances with and around the instrumentation in a way that showcases the uncanny simpatico between the collaborative trio.

Directed by Dylan James Moore, the cinematic visual for “Pluto” feat. Azekel follows Azekel in a gorgeous, long brown coat hiking through the countryside as the sun slowly begins to set.

The album’s third single “Where Moments Wait” is a brooding and meditative composition featuring an arrangement of saxophone, Rhodes and swaggering hip-hop-inspired drumming. Sonically recalling Kamasi Washington, Alfa Mist and the like, “Where Moments Wait” continues the vibiness of its predecessors.

The Swiss duo will be embarking on an European Union tour to support the album. Check out the tour dates below.
