News: All Points East Presents Outbreak Festival 2026 Announces Second Wave Lineup

All Points East Presents Outbreak Fest is a partnership between the following:

All Points East: Since its inception. All Points East has become the essential London-based event. The quality of artists runs deep across its history with established names and those on the cusp of stardom entertaining crowds.

2018 and 2019 saw the festival win a furry of awards: The festival’s inaugural edition in 2018 quickly established the event as one of the UK’s best festivals with the event winning Festival Of The Year Award at that year’s Music Week Awards and Line Up of the Year at the UK Festival Awards. The following year, the event won another Festival Of The Year Award at the Music Week Awards and was named Festival Of The Year by Q Magazine.

The event typically takes place in East London’s Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets. Victoria Park also hosts a hugely popular community-focused event each year. In The Neighbourhood, a collaboration with Tower Hamlets Council hoss a vibrant program of activities and entertainment, working with the local community, businesses, organizations and suppliers. Previous activities have seen something for everyone, including eco-friendly creative workshops, free yoga sessions, street food, open-air movie nights, themed drag shows and film panels with Richmix. And everything is free. 2026’s program will be announced soon.

A commitment to sustainability to accessibility goes alongside the community elements and All Points East has been awards Gold on Attitude is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice for their commitments to Deaf and disabled fans. The event continues to wok each year with local charity, The Tower Project to give volunteer opportunities to young people with learning disabilities and autism on the site at the festival, as well as providing education and performance opportunities to the students of nearby ELAM arts and music schools.

Committing to 100% renewable energy, the event is working towards eliminating single-use plastic from all serve-ware and programming up-cycling workshops for children during In The Neighbourhood, and local business given opportunities to provide food, drink, merchandise and more so that the local community benefits as much as possible as further examples of the event’s commitments to both the local community and the park.

Tower Hamlets: Tower Hamlets owns Victoria Park. In 2017, Tower Hamlets awarded All Points East organizers a contract with a specific mission to ensure that community benefits such as supporting culture, business and employment in the borough, working with residents to reduce any negative impacts at the festivals and generating much-needed income for public services,

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get back to the business at hand, right folks?

Launched back in 2011 as an independent, DIY, one-day festival in northern England, Outbreak Fest has expanded to become one of the premier event within the UK’s counterculture. Initially launched as a hardcore, punk and metal event, the festival has broadened to suit the ever-diversifying tastes of its audience, hosting some of the best established and emerging names in the genres of its origins, but also featuring hip-hop, indie rock, shoegaze emo, electronic music and much more.

Last year, the festival expanded to include a one-day event in London’s Victoria Park alongside its traditional, weekend-long run at Manchester’s Bowlers Exhibition Centre. This year, the event celebrated its 15th anniversary with a three-day long event in Manchester, which was the biggest and best edition of the festival to date. 2026’s London edition is run in collaboration with All Points East.

All Points East Presents Outbreak Fest will take place August 23, 2026 at London’s Victoria Park. Sacramento‘s Deftones will headline the event, on the heels of last year’s private music, and EU and UK tour that included a London O2 show that received 5 stars from The Guardian. The bill also includes IDLES, Amyl and the Sniffers, Interpol, and more.

The other day, festival organizers announced a new wave of support acts that include:

• Dublin-based alt rock quartet BROOKI, a band that has drawn comparisons to PJ Harvey and Wunderhouse, while quickly emerging as a one-to-watch Irish band.
• Los Angeles-based trio Clarion, who have quickly established a sound that blends elements of alt-rock, post-punk and shoegaze. They won fans over with their experimental, hardcore-styled EP Blue Fairy, which was released earlier this year. Best known for their viral breakthrough song “Hello Juliet,” the band has amassed over 2 million listeners on Spotify.
• Atlanta-born and-based artist Kenny Mason, who first emerged with his 2019 smash-hit “Hit,” which later appeared on 2020’s Angelic Haodrat. His third album BULLDAWG received praise from Pitchfork for its unique amalgamation of rap, rock and gospel.
• Berwick-Upon-Tweed-based quartet Overgrown, who with singles like “Pieces” and “Breathe,” have quickly established a sound that blends nu-metal and grunge.
• Reclus.É, a new band featuring radio DJ and A‘s and The Lucky Nine‘s Daniel P. Carter and Tummyache‘s Soren Bryce. Deriving their name from French anarchist geographer Éliseé Reclus, the band through the release of “A Muted TV” and “Roads” has established a sound that’s inspired by Fugazi, The Stone Roses, The Cure and Bad Brains.
• London-based quartet Tooth, a rapidly raising act that has received praise from So Young Magazine and Strand Magazine while opening for the likes of Tough Cookie and Man/Woman/Chainsaw.
• UK-based grunge trio VILLANELLE, an act that formed back in 2023 that’s inspired by Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr, and The Who. They’re on a mission to revive the hype of raw, swaggering authenticity with hook-driven, gritty, lo-fi grunge.
