Today, BLEUFEU announced another edition of Toboggan — New Year’s Eve Celebrations. Presented by SiriusXM in collaboration with Leclerc, the event’s new partner, this year’s Toboggan Festival will take place in Québec City, QC between December 29, 2024 – December 31, 2024. The event features an eclectic and electrifying lineup across two stages that will include MATTN, bbno$, Jonas Blue, Le Twins, the acclaimed Haviah Mighty and Surf Mesa at Place George V. La Bottine Souriante, Kaïn and Quimorucru at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale. Exclusive ares are available through a ticket purchase, but general admission to Toboggan Festival remains free for everyone. (More on those exclusive areas in a bit y’all.)

SiriusXM Cube at Place George V
The SiriusXM Cube at Place George V will be the 2024 edition’s home of electronic music and urban music over the course of the festival’s three-day run.
December 29, 2024
- 5:00pm: DJ Cece the Red opens the festival and its festivities
- 6:00pm: Rising artist Laure will take over the stage with deep house anchored by mesmerizing melodies
- 7:00pm: Latin American duo Le Twins will play their unique brand of explosive electro pop
- 8:30pm: British DJ and producer Jonas Blue will headline with a set that will feature global hits like “Fast Car” and “Perfect Strangers.”
December 30, 2024
- 5:00pm: DJ Mika opens the night with a dynamic set blending Afro, Latin house, disco and hip-hop.
- 6:00pm: MR. SAUGA, an emerging artist, who blends Indigenous traditions with modern beats takes the stage.
- 7:00pm: Haviah Mighty, who won a Polaris Music Prize for 2019’s full-length. solo debut, 13th Floor and a Juno Award for Rap Album/EP of the Year for 2021’s Stock Exchange Mixape will take the stage next.
- 8:30pm: Viral sensation and rising Canadian rapper bbno$ will close out the festival’s second night at the SiriusXM Cube at Place George V.
December 31, 2024
- 9:00pm: American DJ FREAK ON takes the stage, playing tech house with catchy vocal hooks
- 10:00pm: Seattle‘s Surf Mesa, known for global hit “ily (i love you baby)” will spin a set of chill electro melodies.
- 11:30pm: Belgian dj MATTN, who has made a name for herself in the EDM set will play an explosive set that’s perfect for ringing in 2025.
SirusXM Stage, Place de l’Assemblée Nationale
The SiriusXM Stage at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale will be the 2024 edition’s home to traditional Québecois music. If you want to close out and start the new year as the local do, Place l’Assemblée Nationale is the place to do so.
December 31, 2024
- 7:30pm: BoBo OnO will kick off the night with pop rock with elements of funk and psychedelic
- 8:25pm: Gaspésie, QC-based trad outfit Quimorucru hits the stage.
- 9:30pm: Kaïn, a popular act across La Belle Province will take the stage next.
- 11:00pm: Provincial legends La Bottine Souriante will close out the night at the SiriusXM Stage at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale with a set of traditional Québécois music with a modern twist.
Exclusive Areas
As I mentioned, while Toboggan Festival is free, you can experience New Year’s Eve from exclusive paid zones at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale and Place George V.
Groupe Voyages Québec Stands, the Gold Zone and the Silver Zone at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale offer reserved seating and access to exclusive bars. The Gold Zone, close to the SiriusXM Stage, promises a prime view of the festivities. The more intimate Silver Zone offers a cozy atmosphere with fire pits to warm up between traditional dances.
Electronic music fans can enjoy a high-energy night at Kepler Gin Lounge at Place George V, where attendees can have creative cocktails and enjoy DJ sets to welcome 2025 in style.

Leclerc Family Cinema
Leclerc makes their debut as a Toboggan partner.
During the day, classic holiday films will screen at the Leclerc Family Cinema at Place George V, creating a truly magical holiday experience before evening festivities. Outdoor fire pits, relaxation areas, hot chocolate and Leclerc product tastings will also help to create a family-friendly outdoor cinema experience. “We are proud to partner with Toboggan, an event that brings families together to celebrate the last three days of 2024. Partnering with Toboggan aligns with our commitment to customer well-being and enjoyment,” says Marie-Josée Massicotte, Director of Communications and Brand Leader for Groupe Biscuits Leclerc.
Festival Grande Allée
On December 31, attendees can enjoy a lovely stroll along Québec City’s Grande Allée, which will be aglow with its famous heated, decorated terraces. Starting at 7:30pm visitors can purchase a drink from out of the outdoor bars and wander this festival area up to Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale.
Last but definitely not least, Toboggan Festival is committed to minimizing its ecological footprint and aims to be carbon-neutral. All greenhouse gas emissions generated by the event are offset through Planetair. The festival also promotes sustainable transportation and heats its outdoor fire pits with eco-friendly logs. They’ve also created a Guide for Responsible Festivalgoers, which offers attendees green tips to reduce their environmental impact.
