News: FME Announces 2026 Main Stage Lineup

Yesterday, Festival de musique émergente en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (FME), presented by SiriusXM announced that the 24th edition of the festival will take place September 3, 2026 – September 6, 2026. Rouyn-Noranda, QC will yet again host a packed lineup of headliners, emerging artists and international tourist artists, continuing the festival’s long-held reputation for pairing unique sounds and an innovative approach.

FME’s organizers also announced the lineup for the Événements SiriusXM Concert Series at the Rue 7eime main stage:

Thursday, September 3, 2026: The festival’s opening night will be headlined by rising singer/songwriter Les Louanges, a.k.a Vincent Roberge. Roberge returns to Rouyn-Noranda after a secret set at last year’s festival to play material from his third album, Alouette!, which features a modern blend of funk and soul paired with a refined pop-leaning production. The 24th edition’s opening night will be also feature Bon Enfant, whose 2024 effort Demande spéciale won a Rock Album of the Year at last year’s ADISQ Gala. The band specializes in a groovy pop sound with elements of glam rock, disco, folk and psych pop. The night will be rounded out by Malaimé Soleil and Birds of Prrrey, a riot grrrl-inspired indie rock trio who will kick the off the opening night’s festivities.

Friday, September 4, 2026: Événments SiriusXM Concert Series’ second night will be headlined by acclaimed Quebecois hip-hop veteran Koriass, who will be performing material from his seventh and latest album, SEPT ANS DE MALHEUR (titre temporaire), which includes the hit singles “Basse couture,” “Détour” feat. St-Prince and “Vingt-quatre heures.” The main stage’s second night will feature also Kamilou, who specializes in a sound that meshes elements of rap, trap, jazz, pop and soul paired with lyrics that touch upon resilience love and social struggles. The main stage’s second night will be opened by Aswell, who will be playing a set featuring material from his latest album, Berger, which features a critically applauded blend of rap, pop, trap, drill and folk.

Saturday, September 5, 2026: The main stage’s third night will kick off with the Nouvelles Ondes SiriusXM competition finals featuring three artists deemed to best represent the next generation of Francophone singer/songwriters: Hawa B., a genre-defying artist, who played at FME’s 22nd edition back in 2024. N Nao, whose 2024 effort L’eau et les rêves and last year’s Nouveau Langage landed on the Polaris Music Prize long list. N Nao’s experimental pop is rooted in an ecofeminist approach that draws on dreams and rituals. The competition’s last act, Grand Eugéne is a dream pop act, who also played FME back in 2024. The winner will receive a $25,000CAD grant and the opportunity to perform at ParisMaMA Music and Convention.

The night will be headlined by the critically applauded Lou-Adriane Cassidy, who will be playing material from last year’s Journal d’un Loup-garo and Triste Animal, an surprise release that was dropped a few months later.

FME’s late night programming will continue with sets at Scéne Fizz, just a few hundred feet from the festival’s main stage on Rue 7 eime,

Thursday, September 3, 2026: Recent Arbutus Records signee Public Appeal will play material from their sophomore album, hello my mane is public appeal, which was released earlier this year.

Friday, September 4, 2026: Montréal underground Latin scene stalwart Jashim will play a set of material that Cult MTL described as “2000s sun-soaked rhythms [that] meets hyper-pop.”

Saturday, September 5, 2026: 2SLGBTQIA+ community artists Aizysee Bega, whose live show pairs flamboyant aesthetics and socially conscious lyrics within a unique electro pop universe.

This collaboration is a natural extension of our commitment to amplifying francophone music and supporting major cultural events,” explains Matilde Bourgeois, Francophone DCC, Sponsorships, and Events Manager at SiriusXM.

Festival passes went on sale yesterday.

Outdoor Passes: These passes provide access to FME’s main stage on Rue 7eime for its three night run — Thursday, September 3, 2026; Friday, September 4, 2026; and Saturday, September 5, 2026, From yesterday, June 9, 2026 until July 1, 2026, you can cop an outdoor pass for $55CAD. The price goes up to $65CAD on July 2, 2026.

The Best Life pass allows access to all the festival’s programming. From yesterday, June 9, 2026 until July 1, 2026 you can cop the Best Life pass for $200CAD. The price goes up to $220CAD on July 2, 2026.
