Today is the 22nd day of Black History Month. As we go through the month, I’m going to talk about a collection of Black artists. It’ll be fairly comprehensive and eclectic list — although it won’t be a complete list.

Chaka Khan is one of the greatest vocalists to ever do it. And that’s not up to debate. There are only a couple of artists, who could convincingly cover her work — the equally great Whitney Houston and Mary J. Blige. Nuff said.
