December is here. 2024 has flown by and is almost over.

- The Doors‘ John Densmore celebrated his 80th birthday on December 1
- Jaco Pastorius, one of the greatest bassists ever was born 73 years ago on December 1
- Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage celebrated his 64th birthday on December 2
Montell Jordan celebrates his 56th birthday today. He was arguably one of the biggest R&B stars of the late 90s and early 00s: I have this particular memory of being in the old Virgin Megastore in Times Square late one random night, and the store had it playing. Suddenly, a bunch of people in their shitty basement cafe started dancing — including me.
