Nirvana‘s Kurt Cobain was born 57 years ago today. As a teenager in the early 90s, I loved the grunge sound — Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and so many others were personal favorites. At the time, I loved Nirvana immensely. So, Kurt’s death hit me very hard.
But today, I wanted to celebrate Cobain’s massively influential life and music.
Happy birthday, Kurt. Happy birthday, wherever you are!
