We may have lost him a decade ago, but the Beastie Boys‘ Adam “MCA” Yauch was born 58 years ago today.
As a lifelong music obsessive — and as a hip hop head, the Beasties meant a lot to me. And if you’re a child of the 80s as I am, you listened to — and loved, a lot of Beastie Boys songs. So let’s celebrate Yauch’s life and music today, too.
