I might have been obsessed with music when I was a child, but by the time I became a teenager, music was very much a vital part of my entire life. Nirvana‘s Nevermind came out the year I turned 12. And from the first time, I heard “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” the Seattle grunge scene really captured me: Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots were all personal favorites.
