Jody Watley, one of the most commercially successful dance pop artists ever celebrates her 66th birthday today. As a member of Shalamar, she landed a number of chart-topping hits in the States and the UK — and as a solo artist, she won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1988 and earned three more Grammy Award nominations.
