Olivia Newton John was born 76 years ago today. John was behind some of the biggest hits of the late 70s and early 80s. And if you were alive and conscious during that period, you’re intimately familiar with John and her work, because you’ve heard it all the time. Plus, if you were a child of the ’80s, you’ve seen Grease maybe 200 times at some point or another. (In retrospect, it’s kind of odd because some of the references are so creepy now — but, the ’80s, right?)
Sadly, we lost the Aussie-born pop start a couple of years ago, but today let’s celebrate her life and music. Happy birthday, Olivia! Happy birthday, wherever you are!
