As it turned out, yesterday was a rather auspicious day in music history: It was the 58th anniversary of Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell’s birth. And guitar god Carlos Santana turned 75 — 75! — yesterday.
We should always give our legends their flowers while we have them around. So although this is a belated birthday post, I wanted to wish Carlos a very happy birthday. Play these tracks loud in his honor, y’all.
