December is a rather auspicious month in music history:
- Jay-Z celebrated his 54th birthday on December 4
I have to belatedly wish Ozzy Osbourne, the self-described “Prince of Darkness” and “Godfather of Metal,” a very happy 75th — yes, 75th! — birthday. His birthday was back on December 3.
Ozzy’s work with Black Sabbath and his solo work has influenced so many artists — and will influence generations of metalheads and music fans forever.
Happy birthday, Ozzy! May there be many, many more!
